I just prefer the smooth experience of Xfce, and the compositing from xfwm4 is enough glam for me. I dont feel the need for spinning cubes and jiggling windows although I have tried Compiz-Fusion out before.

How does Mint Stack up to Xubuntu? Is it more Xfce oriented?
